Job Role: Food Culture Research & Development Executive

Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai

Overview:

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and intelligent individual to join our team. This position requires an interest in food and culture subjects, and an understanding of food trends, restaurants, chefs, and culinary traditions from around the world. One would conduct research and development activities, food trials, create engaging educational curriculums, and develop session plans.

Responsibilities:

Research & Development

•Conduct in-depth research on various food and culture subjects, including culinary traditions, food history, regional cuisines, and cultural influences on food.

•Stay updated with the latest food trends, emerging ingredients, cooking techniques, and culinary innovations.

•Identify opportunities for product development, menu enhancement, and cultural integration within the food industry.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas related to food and culture.

Food Trials

•Plan and execute food trials to explore new recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods.

•Analyse and evaluate the results of food trials, considering factors such as taste, texture, presentation, and cultural authenticity.

•Make recommendations for improvements and modifications based on trial outcomes.

Curriculum Development

•Design and develop engaging educational curriculums centered around food and culture.

•Incorporate interactive activities, quizzes, and multimedia content to enhance learning experiences.

•Ensure the curriculums align with educational standards and objectives.

•Continuously update and improve existing curriculums to reflect new research findings and industry advancements.

Session Planning

•Create session plans for workshops, classes, and educational events.

Structure sessions to provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences.

•Prepare materials, resources, and visual aids required for each session.
