Vedantu is supported and backed by top VCs that includes Tiger Global, Accel Partners, and Omidyar Network.About Vedantu (by founders) :TEDx talk by Vamsi, Co-founder & CEO: Everyone is a teacher! | Vamsi Krishna | TEDxWalledCityRole Purpose :The Strategic Initiatives Asso.Director/ Director will be a part of the CEOs Office and responsible for program/ project managing key strategic initiatives at Vedantu. This would include establishing governance & project planning, involving teams, stakeholders, investors and clients on assignments considered critical and to be driven by the CEOs Office. This role would also require the ability to mobilize resources towards the given task at hand. Responsibilities :- Core responsibility includes mobilization of a cross-functional team to deliver on the task at hand – from project design – definition of metrics to be moved due to the initiative, listing down the project plan and continuous monitoring of project progress in a time manner (status of milestones, goals reached, etc).- Capturing project health and insights into processes and frameworks that work is key.- Inspecting the metrics movement/ operational efficiency and comparing financial performance against a projects ROI/ planned benefits.- Placing processes to ensure the right product availability that meets consumer demands.- Analyze data or insights or carry out appropriate research/prototyping to determine industry and consumer trends.- Being the driver of business review & governance – ensuring that all key actionable and initiatives are getting documented, addressed and resolved- Work with all functions to drive prioritization & execution of growth opportunities throughout the entire company.Requirements :- High aptitude and hunger to work on the unknowns and solve problems.- Experience in driving high impact projects and programs at scale.- Proven experience in EdTech or Consulting & Project Management or both.- Strong on planning & execution monitoring skills with multi-disciplinary knowledge or experience.- Analytical mind – data based approach to decision making.- Excellent communication and people skills.- High speed growth mindset.- 5+years post qualification and a minimum of 1-2 yrs in high growth start-ups/ Consulting.,
