Programmed Coordinator (Academics), Pre-service Teacher Education EdIndia Foundation
Responsibilities of Programme Coordinator:
Fulfil content requirement of Pragyan Pre-service teacher education programmed.
Develop content for teachers and students for various e-platforms as per the requirement of EdIndia programmed.
Design, develop and execute workshops, webinars, and trainings for Pre-service student-teachers and teachers.
Coordinate the content curation and modification tasks.
Independently manage end-to-end project updates and partner communication across the various levels in the organization. The Programme Coordinator will work very closely with leadership and operational heads as well as key stakeholders within government and partners. Reporting to the Country Lead – Academics, the 2 Coordinator will also work closely with different Program and Vertical Leads within the organization, State Officials and others to ensure development of quality content, operationalization of a robust content feedback for the project, ensuring high-quality measurement of project outputs and intermediate outcomes.

Strong conceptual and pedagogical understanding of one of the mentioned subject areas : Perspectives of Education (Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology)
Rich experience of classroom teaching, teacher training and content development preferably in Govt. school education system and/or Pre-service teacher education Passion for bringing change in the professional experience of teachers and student-teachers and by default in the learning experiences of students.
Experience of developing simple and effective pedagogical ideas and activities. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking, in English and Hindi.
Penchant to develop innovative ways to improve delivery of learning outcomes, optimize costs, improve learner engagement, assess problem situations to identify causes and generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
Aptitude for building collaborative relationships, working cooperatively and effectively with others in a non
hierarchical setting to achieve goals, and managing complexity and driving for results. Passion for achieving quality results, setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress toward goals, and tracking details/data/information/activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters in Education
Successful track record in the field of academics and content development for Teachers with a minimum of 5 years of experience in at least one of the following – Academic Content, Pedagogy, Training.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
