Job Title: Travel Industry Trainer (Galileo Specialist)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer specialized in Galileo (GDS) in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Galileo software and its applications in flight reservations and ticketing processes. The Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to employees on Galileo usage, ensuring proficiency and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions on Galileo software, covering various aspects such as flight reservations, ticketing, and itinerary management.
• Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive exercises, to facilitate effective learning.
• Assess training needs and tailor programs to address specific skill gaps and learning objectives.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees, assisting them in mastering Galileo functionalities and troubleshooting issues.
• Monitor trainee performance and progress, offering feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of Galileo utilization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Galileo technology, incorporating relevant updates into training curriculum.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Galileo software and its applications in flight reservations and ticketing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the identification and effective resolution of quality issues.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear and constructive feedback to customer service representatives and management.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to customer service and travel.
• Certification or training in quality assurance methodologies is considered a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Travel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration) preferred.
• Proven experience working with Galileo software in a travel-related capacity.
• Previous experience in training and development, particularly in the travel industry, is highly desirable.
