
The incumbent shall be responsible for overall administration of the University relating to various functions like admissions, administration, academic administration, Infrastructure & Estate Management, Third party Vendor Management, etc. He/She will be responsible for coordination with the various Schools and off centre campus, Statutory & legal matters, students affairs, etc. As a Registrar, he/she shall be the custodian of University properties and records. He/She, being the secretary to Board of Management, Academic Council, Planning & Monitoring Committee will be required to liaise with members & maintain all minutes & records of discussions. He/She is also required to continuously liaise with regulatory bodies & accreditation agencies.
Eligibility
Candidates should have Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC or equivalent seven/ ten point scale.
At least 10 years of experience as Associate Professor/Professor in a premier institution or equivalent along with experience in educational administration.
OR
Comparable experience of 15 years in Research Establishments and/or other Institutions of Higher Education or in the Government sector
OR
At least 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or in an equivalent position in a premier/national institution.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D. Degree
2. Experience of handling administration/management of a reputed University /Institution
3. Legal Knowledge.
4. Operational knowledge of Computers.
5. Proficiency in English language (both written & spoken)
Candidates from IIT/NIT/IIM and other reputed Institutions will have an added advantage.
