Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor. The role of the Academic Counselor, at MAVEX Mentr, is to provide personalized academic support for students seeking career counseling and academic advice. The academic counselor will work closely with the students to help them explore their study abroad options and provide guidance on course selection, registration, and admission criteria. Additionally, the academic counselor will be responsible for providing support services such as loan, visa support, and accommodation.

Qualifications

• Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide personalized academic support to students
• Familiarity with international education systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with multicultural populations is a plus
• Multilingual abilities are an asset
