Eligibility & Experience: Postgraduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience in the media industry in journalism, photography/filmmaking, content writing, video editing & basic knowledge of design. A degree in media studies & teaching experience will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & deliver the Media Shala curriculum for students from grades 6 to 12
• Classroom management and engaging children creatively & effectively
• Aid in setting up the Media Shala Learning Labs – stock planning, procurements, resource planning
• Conduct daily classes in line with course content & day wise plans
• Develop & curate engaging media projects with students to enhance their experience of project-based learning
• Plan & execute workshops for different stakeholders as & when needed
• Liaise with industry professionals for expert talks, field visits & student internships
• Accompany students on field trips for a better understanding of the medium
• Mentoring & building capabilities of the Media Shala Club of senior students
• Planning & execution of regular learning camps at Media Shala
• Actively contribute to the social media presence of Media Shala by strategizing, and mentoring senior students in various roles for content creation
• Brainstorming for digital content creation, brand & marketing strategy for Media Shala
• Manage the coverage & creation of short-form digital videos for big school events
• Managing the Media Shala Lab by taking complete charge of operations & equipment
• Knowledge sharing & staying up to date with the latest innovations in the media industry
