Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work as a shadow teacher – the shadow teacher has to accompany the special child to an international inclusive school, the shadow teacher will be sitting right next to the child in the classroom and will be working on his academic, social, and behavioral skills. The shadow teacher will also make the child independent enough

2. Work on behavior modification – the behavior modification intern is expected to take tailor-made home sessions for children with special needs. The intern plans and executes different behavior modification techniques depending on the developmental need of the child

3. Work as a remedial teacher – the remedial teacher has to visit one of our client’s places for home sessions, and the remedial teacher has to plan, make and execute interventions for the child

4. Work as a special educator – The special educator is expected to take home sessions focusing on core academic concepts for a child with special needs

Requirements:

1. Different teaching and learning aids are to be used for these sessions

2. Alternate Saturdays are off

3. Sundays are fixed off

4. Timings – 8 to 9 hours of working per day

5. Location- Mumbai (Western and Central line)
