Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Instruction:

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials in various pharmacy-related courses.
• Create course materials, syllabi, and assessments that align with the college’s curriculum and learning objectives.
• Mentor and advise students, providing guidance on academic and career matters.
• Stay current with developments in the field of pharmacy and integrate new knowledge into teaching.

Research:

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas related to pharmacy, pharmacology, or other relevant fields.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present research at conferences.
• Seek external research funding through grants and proposals.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students and research assistants in their research projects.

Service:

• Serve on departmental and college committees, participating in the governance and administration of the institution.
• Contribute to community outreach, engagement, and educational initiatives related to pharmacy.
• Maintain professional memberships and affiliations with relevant organizations.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.

Professional Development:

• Pursue opportunities for continuous professional development, including attending conferences and workshops.
• Stay current with developments in pharmacy education and pedagogical techniques

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification – M. Pharm in Pharmacology

Experience – Minimum 2 years of relevant college teaching experience.
