Purpose of the Job : LEAD started in 2012 with a vision to provide disruptive ed-tech solutions for all stakeholders. Since then, LEAD has grown into a team of proficient individuals striving to transform education. In line with this vision and strategy, LEAD School is looking to hire a VP – Corporate Strategy who will work closely with both the Co-Founders and the Chief of Staff to ensure that organisation level strategy and execution support are aligned with the vision of the org. We are looking for highly competent professionals who understand what it takes to ensure quality education and are excited by the idea of spending time at our partner schools

Key Relationships

Reports to – Founder & CEO and one of the CXO

Other key relationships – All the key leaders of the company including Co-founder & Co-CEO, Chief of Staff, Chief Business & Marketing Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Product Officer, CFO, CHRO.

Key Responsibilities

• Thought partner in developing the strategy road map of the org in consultation with Founders & Chief of Staff. Ensure the other CXOs are aligned and inputs taken.
• Thought leadership in technology led innovations with the objective of disruption in the edtech sector.
• Setup robust internal tracking through identifying the right lead-lag metrics, clear dashboards for decision making and communication
• Create and drive strategic collaborations across functions
• Develop structured approach for new products and product improvements based on market/competition/learning objectives
• Create and manage a consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
• Provide insights on market activity and present them to to the leadership team
• Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business

Ideal Experience

• 10+ years experience in consulting and corporate strategy
• Candidates with B2B experience will be preferred
• Strategy Consulting experience with Big Consulting firms or experience in leading Corporate Business strategy will be preferred
• Experience in cross-functional project management, enabling data for decision making, driving product improvements, competition tracking, acquisition and partnerships will be beneficial
• Excellent academic pedigree with a preference for an alumnus of a top-tier business school/university in India / abroad. A Master’s or MBA is a must.

• VP Strategy to identify and execute growth opportunities in our company. He/she will evaluate market forecasts and long-term trends, collect competitive intelligence, drive cross-functional business processes, and maintain business model innovation.
• He/she will synchronize strategies with corporate center plans. He/she will interpret long-term plans into short-term projects
• To ensure success there needs to be a high focus on planning, growth, and business model innovation objectives, and sound judgment demonstrated on which markets to target. Top candidates will have excellent listening and people skills, and be proactive.
