IHR Hiring For Student Guidance Counsellor at Edapalli, Kerala Full Time

IHR are seeking a Student Guidance Counselor for our Indian office in Kerala. The role of the Student Counselor is to guide students to aspire to their dream careers across the globe through our Educate Beyond department. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and a multitasker and advise students and young people so that they can make informed choices about their future in relation to employment, education and training. Responsibilities include assessing the ability and potential of students and providing one-to-one counselling.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for guiding students in studying abroad
• Assisting students in selecting a suitable course and university
• Carrying out assessments or interviews with the students
• Responsible for online applications to various countries such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada
• Knowledge of courses, eligibility processes, availability and costs involved in various stages of admission and visa
• Counselling students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection and career planning
• Be thoroughly aware of the current trending career opportunities in the above-mentioned countries

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Integrity and professionalism
• Ability to operate within a wide range of student personalities and backgrounds
• Organisational and administrative skills
• Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Excellent communication/listening and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about learning

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
