Position: Study Abroad Counselor

Location: Thane / Mulund (Mumbai)

We are an International Education Consulting Company based in Mumbai, India. We specialize in assisting students in pursuing their Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees at reputed universities abroad. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Study Abroad Counselors. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding and supporting students and their parents throughout the study abroad process. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Student Interaction and Engagement:a) Welcome and engage with students who visit our office.b) Establish a friendly and professional rapport with students to understand their aspirations and goals.2. Study Options Guidance:a) Provide comprehensive advice and guidance to aspiring students and parents regarding various study options abroad, aligning with the companys policies.b) Conduct student/parent meetings to address their doubts, concerns, and difficulties.3. Lead Follow-up:a) Effectively follow up on leads generated through different sources, such as the website, email, telephone, and references.b) Maintain a systematic approach to lead management and ensure timely communication.4. Student Conversions:a) Actively work towards achieving student conversion targets and revenue goals for the company.b) Utilize effective counseling techniques and persuasive skills to assist students in making informed decisions.5. Admissions and Visa Assistance:a) Collaborate with the administrative staff to complete admissions and application processes, documentation, and visa procedures.b) Coordinate with faculties and university representatives to ensure a smooth process for students.6. Client Coordination:a) Maintain regular communication and coordination with our business associates and clients both in India and abroad.b) Provide timely updates on the study abroad process and address any concerns or queries.7. Documentation Support:a) Assist students in preparing necessary documents such as the Statement of Purpose, Recommendation Letters, and Essays.b) Offer guidance in selecting the right set of universities based on individual preferences and aspirations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Counseling, International Relations).
• Proven experience in counseling or advising students in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with study abroad programs, universities, and visa procedures.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Utilize CRM or AI tools and other business software to update and manage business, track progress, and generate reports.
