GEMS Education Hiring for Head of Languages (2023-24) Job at Cochin Full Time

GEMS Modern Academy, Kochi’s first authorized Cambridge / IB PYP school has been thoughtfully constructed to provide a learning environment that’s filled with opportunities to discover, explore and have fun.

As the school continues to grow, we are looking for an outstanding, creative and passionate Head of Languages to join our team.

Successful applicants will have the following:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree specializing in the subject taught and a certified teaching qualification, preferably.
• Experience teaching in an International curriculum school is required,
• At least 5 years’ experience in IGCSE French.
• Experience teaching in an additional language – English, Spanish or Malayalam would be preferred.
• Leadership experience is an added advantage
• The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is needed to work closely with students and parents.
• Aspiration to work in a world class school with real prospects for enhancing their career.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Familiar with school systems and strong IT skills.
