
Role & responsibilities :
Curriculum Planning and Delivery:
Planning and delivering comprehensive lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and educational standards, ensuring alignment with subject-specific learning objectives and pedagogical approaches.
Employing innovative teaching methodologies, instructional strategies, and learning activities to engage students, promote active participation, and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
Subject-Specific Instruction:
Providing subject-specific instruction in the assigned subject area(s), such as English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, or others, tailored to the grade level and learning needs of students.
Integrating interdisciplinary connections, real-world applications, and experiential learning opportunities into subject-based lessons to enhance student understanding and retention of key concepts.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Designing and administering formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes, monitor academic progress, and provide timely feedback on student performance.
Analyzing assessment data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing differentiated instructional strategies and interventions to support student growth and achievement.
Classroom Management:
Establishing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, characterized by clear expectations, mutual respect, and a culture of collaboration and responsibility.
Implementing effective classroom management strategies, behavior interventions, and conflict resolution techniques to address student behavior issues and maintain a productive learning environment.
Parent Communication and Collaboration:
Establishing open and proactive communication channels with parents or guardians to share information about students’ academic progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Collaborating with parents to address individual student needs, develop academic goals, and foster a supportive home-school partnership that promotes student success and well-being.
Professional Development and Growth:
Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops, seminars, conferences, and subject-specific training sessions, to enhance subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, and instructional effectiveness.
Reflecting on teaching practice, soliciting feedback from colleagues and supervisors, and actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and professional growth as a teacher.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
Assist in the organization and supervision of school events, trips, and activities.

Extracurricular Involvement:
Participating in extracurricular activities, clubs, sports teams, or student organizations as a faculty advisor, coach, or mentor to support students’ holistic development and foster a sense of community and school spirit.
Student Support and Guidance:
Providing academic, social, and emotional support to students through individualized instruction, mentoring, counseling, and guidance on study skills, time management, and goal setting.
Collaborating with school counselors, learning support specialists, and administrators to address student needs, concerns, and challenges effectively and promote student well-being.
Collaborative Planning and Teamwork:
Collaborating with grade-level teams, subject departments, and interdisciplinary groups to plan and coordinate curriculum pacing, instructional strategies, assessment practices, and student support initiatives.
Participating in faculty meetings, professional learning communities (PLCs), and curriculum review committees to share best practices, align instructional goals, and enhance interdisciplinary connections.
