JAOL has a new division in the food space and we would like to have a more vibrant design language for brochures, packaging and internal design.

Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Vadodara to implement this new language of design in the food division. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Junior Graphic Designer will be in charge for creating visual concepts, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers, clients and employees. This role will involve working with our director, marketing professionals and operations team to create brochures, create brand books and content for internal and external branding, typography, and other designs. We want design to be the central language to communicate with employees, clients, management and share holders alike.

Qualifications

• Graphics: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Corel Draw, Canva and other graphic design software.
• Graphic Design: Ability to create visual concepts, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate.
• Iconography & Logo Design: Ability to create icons and logos from scratch that are visually appealing and convey the desired message.
• Branding: Knowledge of branding principles and the ability to create branding materials.
• Typography: Knowledge of typography principles and the ability to create typography-based designs.
• Open Mind: The ability to teach and learn, be patient & hear and be affirmative & talk.
• Entrepreneurial: Would like the individual to have a mindset to take responsibility and create their own path.

In addition to the above skills, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication, well versed with the english language and fantastic interpersonal skills. They should be highly organized, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of UI/UX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or any other webdesign software is a plus.
