Role: Distribution Alliance Manager

Qualifications

●    Demonstrable sales and customer outcomes success partnering with multiple Distributors & VARs across APJ

  •   Ability to develop and execute multi-faceted Distributor business plans, define S.MA.R.T. Key Performance Indicators (KPI), tracking progress and ROI.

●    Understanding of the SMB marketplace and what successful VARs need to do in order to disrupt, lead and drive new profitable business across the region

●    Successful track record selling cloud platforms, with the ability to articulate technologies as business outcomes and digital transformation enablers

●    Prior experience developing a channel for network security &/or cloud technologies, including but not limited to: Security Proxies and Caches, SSL/IPSec VPNs, and Firewalls.

●    Able to travel across the APJ region.

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese plus good business English

●    Self-motivated & organised with strong time management and advanced negotiation skills.

●    Strong, effective and professional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally – communicate, teach and inspire.

● Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop and manage virtual sales teams (internal and external).

●    Enterprise/Channel sales experience with an actionable rolodex of executive decision makers. Proven experience influencing senior-level partner executives.

●    Expert working with, enabling and activating VARs and Distribution partners Superb organizational skills

●    ‘Whatever it takes’ attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance.

●    Prior experience with smaller, growing companies.

●    5+ years of distribution or channel management experience

●    2+ years of channel sales and change management experience in vendor environment
