Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Training Specialist with a strong background in competency-based training to join our dynamic Learning and Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that align with our organizational goals and competencies.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Program Development:
- Design and develop competency-based training programs that meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
- Create engaging and interactive training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia presentations.
2. Training Delivery:
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Utilize various instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.
3. Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement assessments to measure training outcomes and competency development.
- Collect and analyze feedback from trainees to improve future training programs.
- Maintain training records and track participants’ progress and performance.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with department heads and HR to identify training needs and align programs with business objectives.
- Act as a consultant to managers and employees on best practices in competency development and training.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in training and development.
- Recommend and implement innovative training methods and tools to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate training, with a focus on competency-based training.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess training effectiveness.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
