Our client is service provider for study abroad and PR to countries like USA, Canada,
UK, Ireland, Australia and New-Zealand.

JOB LOCATION :- HYDERABAD

POSITION:- CAREER COUNSELLOR

Our client in the process of expanding our business and need a counsellor
with the following job description:

The process involves :-

Counselling the students for overseas education.
Follow-up with the student, solving the student queries and handling the
registrations.
Filing the application forms (University) verifying, them and sending
the same to the universities.
Maintaining the data of all registered students and their Visa status
etc.
Counsel students and send them abroad for higher studies.
Coordinating with students & universities abroad.
Represent universities abroad.
Identify skills, interests & career goals of the prospective students.
Train & hire new candidates.
Organising marketing activities for promoting the company.
Attending the university training & workshops.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Sales/counselling.
Minimum of 2-4 years professional counselling experience for visa
services
Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational
assessment.
Experience with counselling principles, techniques, and practices as
applied to students’ problems and developmental needs.
Excellent active listening and communication skills.
Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.
Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body language.
Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.
