Roles and Responsibilities
1. The primary responsibility of an English faculty member is to teach language skills such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking to students.
2. English faculty members should encourage critical thinking skills by assigning readings, facilitating class discussions, and encouraging students to question assumptions and ideas.
3. English faculty members should help students enhance their writing skills by providing feedback on their writing assignments and guiding them through the writing process.
4. English faculty members should collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary curriculum and improve the overall educational experience for students.
