Job Description: Production Manager at XSEED Education

Position Overview:

As a Production Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility from concept to launch/delivery of high-quality products for students, parents, teachers, and schools in the K-8 education space. You will produce high-quality content across media – print, digital and technology. To do so, you will own processes, manage workflows, track progress and create capability or resources to deliver multiple projects on time, at cost, to the agreed quality levels.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage end-to-end delivery of all product content including videos, visual assets, and printed materials after receiving academic input from Authoring team

– Define templates, procedures, guidelines, and methods.

– Ensure workflow & capacity utilization.

– Documentation, records and archiving

– Own timelines, budgets, calendars, resources

– Identify, onboard, and manage partners and vendors in the area of graphic design, book and film and Requirements:

– Professional degree in operations management, production engineering or a related field. Tier 1 institutes (IITs, IIMs, etc.) preferred

– Proven experience of 5+ years managing end-to-end delivery of content for print and/or digital media, including setting new processes, manuals, dashboards, and systems.

– Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools and processes, dashboards, software tools, etc.

– Experience working on a CMS is a plus.

– Experience with quality management and control systems and processes. Ex: Black belt or similar from GE

– Has an eye for detail and drive for perfection.

– Some experience in balancing the strain between quality versus deadlines to deliver on deadlines.

– Proficient in vendor relations and price negotiations.

– Experience in hiring, training, briefing, managing skilled technical staff
