About the role:

Teaching:
-Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the schools plans, curriculum and scheme of work
-Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievement of assigned students, making accurate and productive use of assessments
-Adapt teaching to respond to the strength and needs of students
-Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students.
-Promote good progress and outcome by students
-Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
-Participate in arrangements for preparing students for external and internal tests
Organization, Strategy and Development
-Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the schools policies, practices and procedures, to support the schools values and vision
-Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
-Work with other teaching staff on curriculum and students development to secure co-ordinated outcomes
-Play the role of substitute teachers in an unforeseen circumstances that another teacher is unable to teach.
Professional Development
-Take part in the Schools appraisal process
-Take part in further Training and Development in order to improve your own Teaching.
Workday and Time:
School work from Monday to saturday (8:00 AM to 3:00PM)
evening 6pm-8pm study hours(normally given 3 days weekly depends on number of staff available)
