Job Description
Primary Teacher (PYP) needed in an International School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Education –  

Graduate or Postgraduate. B.Ed Preferred

Diploma/Certification in International Curriculum

Experience –

1 to 4 years of experience in Primary Year Teacher group

Proven experience in Differentiated Learning

Excellent Communication and Computer skills

Responsibilities – 

Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students  in line with the IB curriculum
Planning, preparing and delivering instructional activities that support the philosophy of  PYP and facilitate an inquiry based learning approach
Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see  success and improve
Conduct assessments of student learning styles and use results for instructional activities
Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional  knowledge
Plan Units of Inquiry and lessons by following IB curriculum framework collaboratively  with the Primary Coordinator, Specialist teachers, and Head of the School
Create inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge and a  range of skills within an environment based on trust and respect
Plan more activity based learning which helps the student to learn the topic quickly and  effectively

Planning of outdoor activities, games, role play and puppet activities for effective learning

School timings – 7.45 am to 4:00 pm
