Job Description

Planning-Creating lesson plans and activities, and developing course materials
Teaching-Delivering lessons across a range of subjects, such as literacy, numeracy, history, and science
Assessing-Setting and marking tests and other assessments, and recording student attendance, grades, and performance
Communicating-Greeting and communicating with parents and guardians about student performance and behavior, and attending parent-teacher meetings
Managing-Maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment, establishing rules, managing conflicts, and handling difficult students
Supporting-Supporting student mental, physical, intellectual, and social development, and adjusting teaching methods to meet individual needs
Organizing-Organizing supplies and resources, and leading extracurricular activities such as sports teams or excursions
Ensuring-Ensuring all students are wearing the correct uniform and maintaining a good level of hygiene, and that the classroom is clean and tidy
