Job Description:We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Wellness Teacher to join our team and play a key role in promoting the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our students. The Wellness Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive wellness program that encompasses physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and overall well-being. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Design a wellness curriculum tailored to the needs and age groups of students in accordance with CBSE guidelines.

Health Education: Teach students about the importance of physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Physical Fitness: Conduct physical education classes that focus on developing students’ physical strength, endurance, and coordination.

Mental Health Support: Offer guidance and support to students dealing with emotional and psychological challenges, and facilitate workshops on stress management and coping strategies.

Nutrition Education: Educate students on the importance of a balanced diet and lead discussions on nutrition and healthy eating habits.

Individualized Support: Provide individualized support to students who require specific wellness interventions.

Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and school staff to integrate wellness principles into the overall school culture.

Parent Engagement: Engage with parents to provide resources and guidance on promoting wellness at home and building a strong school-community partnership.

Documentation: Maintain records of student progress and wellness activities, and prepare regular reports for school administration and parents.

Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in wellness and education to continually improve the wellness program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Education, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Teaching experience in wellness, health, or PSYCHOLGY ,physical education is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A deep understanding of wellness principles, physical fitness, and mental health.
• Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being among students.

Contract length: 36 months

Salary: ₹7,000.00 – ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
