We are looking to hire a Training Superintendent- Electrical for International Maritime Training Centre (IMTC), a division of Wilhelmsen Ship Management (India) Pvt Limited at Powai, Mumbai.

Main Responsibilities
To maintain a high standard of quality for all training activities under the purview of the technical department of IMTC in line with IMTC’s and Wilhelmsen Group mission statement and policy.
Increase business activity and business opportunities for IMTC and be actively involved in marketing all IMTC Training activities.
Lead & develop the Technical Department team under his/her charge. Develop a progression plan for his department and implement the same as per directions received from GM of IMTC.
Be responsible for faculty planning and deployment to ensure that there are adequate resources to develop and deliver services under his purview.
Keep up to dare at all times of the latest training strategies/methodologies in the Technical Maritime Training Industry and be the lead in development of new training programs and training content specific for the department.
Ensure that the equipment, material etc. in respect of the services under the Technical Department are properly maintained and kept secured including academic/ intellectual property.
Participate in the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of IMTC’s strategy, annual operating plan, and annual budgets.
Participate ad carry out training programs as and when required.
Responsible for the Engine Cadets Program for both internal and external stakeholders as agreed.
Participate actively in development of digital training material and delivery strategies (i.e., e-Learning, webinars, etc.)
Qualifications:
Mandatory requirements:
Engineering Officer Class 1 with 10 years sailing experience
2 years teaching experience in a Maritime Training Institute as Engineering faculty or experience considered as equivalent by the management.
Completion of Course in ‘Training for Trainers & Assessors” or “Vertical Integration Course for Trainers – VICT”
Additional preferences
Completion of relevant courses (e.g., ME Control Systems) in specialized Engineering subjects.
formal training in management skills
Undergone training in Internal audit process
Knowledge of Electricals, Electronics and Automation.
DCE in gas tanker operations
