A leading and award winning digital media agency is on a look out for a Group head copy

• Develop and execute outstanding work across ATL/BTL/Social and Digital
• Understand the client’s strategy and business context, and always aim to do work that performs.
• Work closely with multi-discipline team members to generate concepts to fulfil the client’s brief
• Work collaboratively with planning and client service department under the direction of the ECD
• On a daily basis, report and update the status of jobs and issues to the ECD
• Present concepts (internally and to clients)
• Build strong collaborative relationship with the team, partners and clients
• Timeous execution of work against scheduled deadlines by the traffic manager
• Accountable for checking all content, ensuring the highest standard of concept and execution
• Work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
• Cast actors for TV, Content, Radio, and listening to voice and video auditions
• Visit and assess locations for potential shoots
• Write and brief production documents to the relevant production departments
• Have an opinion on the effectiveness of competitor advertising campaigns
• Contribute to proactivity and innovative thinking on brands within the portfolio
• Assist with pitches, awards and new business presentations as required
• Push the idea and executional craft to make the work shine
• Mentor junior/mid-level writers within the department
• Attend reviews and guide copy

Requirements / Experience / Skills

• A tertiary qualification in Copywriting/Advertising
• Minimum 8 years experience as a Copywriter in an Advertising Agency
• A command of all facets of writing for advertising (i.e. TTL/BTL, Social and Digital)
• A good command of the English language
• Venac is essential (verbal and written)
• Firm grasp of writing for channel with a special focus on social platforms
• Strong presentation skills
• A proven track record and awarded integrated portfolio
• Being able to craft clear, persuasive, original, highly creative and imaginative copy
• An eye for detail and excellence

Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience
