Who are we Looking For?
We are looking for a Sales Head who plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding market reach. This position combines strategic planning, team leadership, and deep knowledge of the education technology industry.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Developing Sales Strategy:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
- Identify target markets, customer segments, and key accounts for focused outreach.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, including Account Executives, Sales Representatives, and Business Development Managers.
- Set clear targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Establish and maintain sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and track progress against goals.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the education sector.
- Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, teachers, parents, and students.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure a unified approach to customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge and Communication:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the company’s EdTech products and services.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential and existing clients.
Partnership and Alliances:
- Identify and negotiate partnerships with educational institutions, government bodies, and other relevant organizations to expand market presence.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline sales processes, workflows, and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and utilize CRM systems for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Sales Collateral and Material:
- Oversee the development of sales collateral, presentations, and materials to support the sales team in their efforts.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Analyze data to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the EdTech industry.
- Strong understanding of the education sector, higher education, and vocational training.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
