Full Job Description

Ø CCC is an important person who works among the people of a particular area to promote their welfare.

Ø The CCC involves in arranging community gatherings and helping families who need counseling on education for their children.

Ø Providing emotional support to families is also important in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Directly reports to the Community Program Manager on daily basis

CCC is expected to;

Ø Attend Daily Meetings (morning & evening)

Ø Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly reports

Ø Conducts Surveys, Home visits, and assists in all the service programs; Education, Health, Sports, Dental, Vocational Training, networking etc.

Ø Regular Data entry and Updates in the prescribed formats

Ø Case management of the children enrolled in BLC School

Ø To develop a care plan in discussion with CPM & other project team

Ø To maintain case study dates on daily basis

Ø Timely implementation of the project.

Ø Follow up of Absent students

Ø Formal school admission, visit to formal schools and get update

Ø Conduct Focus group meeting

Ø CCDP training and exposure visit

Ø Refer medical case to medical team

Ø Help youth for new job opportunity

Ø Identify and prepare case story

Ø Find vocational and culinary students for course, follow up of absent students. CCC major responsibilities include organizing, helping people obtain certain benefits and services, such as welfare, and aiding community members in accessing education, sports, vocational training, health care, counseling and linkages with other organizations govt and non-govt.

Ø CCC has to facilitate community development initiatives and collective solutions within a family/community.

Ø CCC is to do this by encouraging and assisting family/community groups to identify their needs, participate in decision-making and develop appropriate services and facilities.

Ø CCC frequently act as a source of information and advice to individuals and communities about the services and programs available to them.

Ø CCC plans, develops and delivers a range of programs and services, including family support in terms of Education- enrolment programs for children for families of all types from local to migrants and refugees, community and adult education, Sports, Medical, Referral & Counseling services and Vocational training programs for family members.

Ø Community development brings people together. This type of work requires selfless individuals who are passionate about assisting others

Ø As a CCC you will help communities to bring about social change and improve the quality of life in their local area in terms of education. You might work with individuals, families and whole communities to empower them to:

· identify their assets, needs, opportunities, rights and responsibilities

· plan what they want to achieve and take appropriate action

· develop activities and services to generate aspiration and confidence.

Ø As a CCC you will act as the link between communities and a range of other local authority and voluntary sector providers, such as the education institutes, health posts, hospitals, police, social workers and other welfare organizations.

Ø CCC has to be sensitive towards community since you will be frequently involved in addressing inequality. Projects often target communities perceived to be culturally, economically or geographically disadvantaged.

Ø CCC seeks to actively engage communities in making sense of the issues which affect their lives, setting goals for improvement and responding to problems and needs through empowerment and active participation.

Ø A good deal of the work is project based, which means CCC will usually have a specific geographical community or social group on which to focus.

Tasks involve:

· identifying community skills, assets, issues and needs

· ensuring that local people have their say

· developing new resources in dialogue with the community and evaluating existing programmes

· building links with other groups and agencies

· helping to raise public awareness on issues relevant to the community

· daily data entry and preparing reports

· developing and implementing strategies

· liaising with interested groups and individuals to set up new services

· mediating in matters of conflict

· recruiting and training paid and voluntary staff

· planning, attending and coordinating meetings and events

· making household visits in the identified HH

· encouraging participation in the project activities

· challenging inappropriate behavior by bringing in positive change through communication

· general administrative duties.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:

Master’s /Bachelor’s Degree in Social work, or relevant experience
Experience:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in field work

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher
