• Maintaining a safe environment for children by enforcing safety regulations and procedures, such as not allowing children to walk on ladders or stand near a stovetop
• Enforcing rules for discipline and behavior, including timeouts when necessary
• Providing opportunities for children to develop socially and emotionally through play and interactions with peers and adults
• Assisting with daily routines, such as changing diapers or bathing children
• Observing children to assess their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
• Helping children develop their cognitive skills through activities such as reading books and fingerplays
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that meet each child’s needs and interests
• Assessing students’ progress and communicating with parents about any issues that may arise
• Maintaining a safe environment for children by enforcing safety regulations and procedures, such as not allowing children to walk on ladders or stand near a stovetop
