Full Job Description
Primary Purpose: An Education Facilitator is one who acts as a catalyst in the process of individual attention and progress of the child along with the Main Teacher to fulfill the objectives of the Classroom.
Key Accountabilities/Activities:
Primary Responsibility:
Academic Operations
· Lesson Delivery and Classroom Functioning
· Get debrief at the beginning of the day and assist the Main Teacher in implementing the plan for the day.
· Manage the classroom responsibly i.e. orderly and timely arrangement, appearance, décor, and maintains a conducive learning environment of the classroom. Monitor physical setup and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the classroom area. Responsible for putting up equipment and organizing essential resources at the start of a lesson.
· Fosters the participation in the academic processes during Support Sessions.
· Update the Main Teacher /Grade level Coordinator about any significant episode or incident related to the classroom or SPA classes.(student illness, long absenteeism without intimation, any physical problems)
· To observe student’s performance and to provide the teacher with valuable inputs regarding obstacles to learning encountered by students, and the effectiveness of classroom processes.
· Prepare and receive homework files.
· Maintains eye contact, moves around the class and interacts with students.
Student Administration
· Be responsible for emotional and physical well being of each and every child.
· Should be approachable and treats students fairly and objectively.
· Inculcate discipline in and out of the classroom.
· Treat children with dignity and respect.
· Ensure that all children pay attention to the lesson plan delivered.
· Seeks to enable students to become more independent learners. Promote maximum student participation and interest and assist students in analyzing and improving methods and habits of study
· Help in the arrival and departure of the children
· Assist and engage students at snack time (i.e. help serve snacks to the children, talk to them about healthy food, good eating habits, etc.)
· Share bus and field duties with the main teacher, assist the children to the Library, Sick Bay and Computer Lab
· Accompany and supervise SPA activities
· Students are not to be left alone at any point in time in the school corridors.
· Identify students with special needs and communicate to the Main Teacher.
· Keeps a check on basic hygiene, is aware of the previous history and attends to health matters seriously and diligently of each child.
Secondary Responsibility:
Administration Operations:
· Attend all staff meetings and participate in the recommended training programs, courses and other aspects of professional growth.
· The Teacher must protect and maintain all school property at all given point in time.
· Participate in organizing and implementing special events, field trips, culminating activities, PTM’S of the school
· Conduct stock taking of teaching aids on quarterly basis along with the Main Teacher.
· Responsible for effective co-ordination within departments to conduct her day today operations.
· Assist the Main Teacher in maintaining and displaying the Theme charts on the Soft boards.
· Assist the Main Teacher in maintaining records as required.
· Student Portfolio and Guardian File.
· Adheres to school policies in force
Work Relations:
Internal:
· Reporting to Main Teacher / Co-ordinator for all functional as well as administration issues.
· Interfacing with Interfacing with Principal for academic related issues.
· Interfacing with Admin, Finance, HR and Technology for any people or any operational issues.
External:
· Interface with parents for timely communication of school information and managing parents issues
· Interface with external vendors for any functional issues.

Qualification:
· 12th pass/ Graduate in any field
· D.Ed / B.Ed.
Experience:
· Fresher
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Preschools/Elementary grades

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary: ₹11,000.00 – ₹15,000.00 per month
