Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Hiring for Lab Admin Job at Chennai Full Time

• Coordination (co-work with SRIB & VIT faculties) for setting up Lab (Equipment, configuration, formulation of process, operational policies, etc.)
• Act as a Point of contact for interface with SRI-B in the execution of data-related worklets.
• Analyse the requirements, strategize and, prepare an operational plan to collect data.
• Do a feasibility analysis on the requirements & plan possible channels for data collection.
• Facilitate to create sub-tasks based on requirements (splitting requirements into sub-activities for data collection, annotation, quality check, etc.)
• Conduct training on the data collection norms, dos & donts, etc.
• Managing Lab staff & their task assignments, KPI, etc. (annotators, QC, etc.)

Ensure structured management of data (folder wise storage), access management, data security, etc

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electronics/Computers with MBA
• 0-3 years of experience in business, Project management and excel-based processes, with problem solving skills.
• Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete processes without error. Able to confidently follow a process and rapidly develop subject matter expertise without the need for continual quality checks on work
• Demonstrate flexibility with last minute changes in commitments and deadlines and has ability to prioritize tasks accordingly. Capable of managing and prioritizing high workload volumes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good leadership skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables
• Proven skills in time management, organization, and attention to detail
