Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Faculty to join our team in Kolkata. As an Online Mathematics Faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students through online platforms. Your expertise in mathematics, combined with effective teaching methods, will help students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and achieve academic success. You would also be given training on Vedic Mathematics which would be required in your position with us.’

Key Responsibilities:

1. Online Instruction: Deliver live online math classes to students using virtual learning platforms, employing interactive teaching techniques to ensure student engagement and understanding.
2. Individualized Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to students, addressing their specific learning gaps, challenges, and queries to foster their mathematical skills and confidence.
3. Assessments and Feedback: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
4. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track the academic progress of students, maintaining accurate records of their performance and communicating updates to parents/guardians as necessary.
5. Academic Support: Conduct remedial sessions, extra classes, and workshops to reinforce concepts, clarify doubts, and support struggling students in achieving their academic goals.
6. Technological Proficiency: Utilize online teaching tools, multimedia resources, and educational technology platforms effectively to enhance the learning experience and facilitate student engagement.
7. Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in mathematics education, teaching methodologies, and online learning trends through continuous professional development activities.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with the academic team, sharing insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to improve instructional quality and student outcomes.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Mathematics/Science/Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Mathematics Faculty, preferably in online teaching or e-learning environments.
• Proficiency in teaching various mathematics topics, including algebra, geometry and statistics, to students of different grade levels.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and academic standards in mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in an online setting.
• Technologically proficient, comfortable with using virtual learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational software.
• Passion for teaching and a student-centered approach to instruction.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
