Job Description – Middle School Mathematics Teacher EuroSchool Whitefield (Grades VI – IX) Position Summary The Middle School Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centric, and competency-based Mathematics instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will nurture logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports every child’s academic and holistic development. � EuroSchool +1 Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school academic framework. Teach concepts such as Number Systems, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Data Handling, Probability, and Integers using activity-based and experiential learning methods. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, projects, and learning resources. Integrate technology and digital learning platforms to enhance classroom engagement. Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback. Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions based on students’ learning needs. Foster critical thinking, logical reasoning, and application-based learning. Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment. Participate actively in school events, assemblies, competitions, parent meetings, and co-curricular activities. Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership for curriculum planning and student development. Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation. Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics) or equivalent. Master’s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc.) preferred. B.Ed. is mandatory. Experience Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools, preferably handling Middle School Mathematics.
