Lead a team of sales associates.
Develop sales pipeline and manage funnel diligently.
Pitch Working Professionals & University/High School students looking to apply for foreign universities
Responsibilities & Duties
Managing and owning the Sales CRM account
Identifies and or cultivates key prospective students/leads
Initiates follow ups & leads meetings with potential students/leads
Develops and maintains relationships with the students/leads
Collaborates with Marketing team on product and sales materials to ensure they are current and focussed for the applicable presentation, conference, or opportunity
Acts the primary point of contact & liaison throughout the sales cycle
Participate in corporate events, educational events, college fairs, information sessions and as a representative of the company
Work in tandem with the services team to convert potential students/leads and define sales points
Work closely with the UpGuide executive and marketing team to further develop sales opportunities
Desired Skills & Work Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in relevant field will be preferred
A background in doing sales for international student admissions, marketing, and recruitment, in particular from India and the South Asia region
Understanding of foreign university application requirements & fees
Strong understanding of academic articulation processes with an institution
The ability to present to potential students/leads, including a range of stakeholders (students, family & parents)
Proven ability to establish, grow and improve lead conversions and student outlook
Ability to identify challenges faced during a lead conversion process, and provide solutions to overcome these challenges
Educational Background
Bachelors in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing & sales or similar degrees.
Master degree would be an added advantage.
