Job Description:

Role: AVP- Academic Operations,

Key Roles:

The AVP Academic Operations will be responsible for the management of the academic operations capabilities of UNIVO. This includes responsibility for but not limited to: providing administration, planning, and coordination on a variety of Academic Affairs operations including, optimization of program/department course offerings, strategic course scheduling, academic schedule, strategic curriculum development and review, strategic planning and initiatives overseeing the development and delivery of curriculum, throughout the student’s lifecycle and ensuring that the UNIVO’s academic operation services meets the needs of its partner institutions.

Responsibilities:

● Oversee Product development, project management and program delivery, ensuring that it is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

● Constantly look for opportunities to improve and widen the scope of Academic Operations capabilities of UNIVO.

● Stay up to date on the latest trends in education technology and pedagogy.

● New Partner Enablement, Pre-Sales Technical Presentation.

● New Product Development and Management.

● Partner with other departments, such as content, support, marketing and sales to ensure that the company’s academic offerings are effectively marketed and sold.

● Vendor Management, Vendor Payments.

● Tender Documentation, Presentation Preparation.

● New Program Development, Program Enhancement, Content Partnership

● Management, identification, and implementation of processes for smoother program launch.

● Proactively identifying issues through the data and feedback mechanism, and areas of enhancements that provide/initiate appropriate corrective action, value-added insights and lead/implement strategic initiatives.

● Handle multiple competing and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Ensuring the delivery of new programs to the appropriate quality and on time, per the Program plan and Program governance arrangements.

● Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the Program are identified or issues arise.

● Managing 3rd Party vendors responsible for delivering content and other services.

● Prepare updates for the leadership team on performance highlights of Academic Operational progress at regular intervals to the CAO and the leadership.

Qualifications:

● Any Masters (preferably MBA or equivalent).

Work Experience:

● 6+ Years of work experience in Program Management

● EdTech experience is a plus

● Experience working with multiple teams – product, marketing, category, and analytics.

● Demonstrable proficiency in tools for project management including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

● Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling Programs

● Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties.
