Developing & Maintaining client Relations (Industry Connects)
- Networking, building connects and convincing companies (law firms/ design houses/Pharma) to recruit students through campus placements and internships for students from School of Law/Design/Health Science.
- High level of Interpersonal and networking skills
- Good exposure/presence in social networking platforms.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong Presentation Abilities, must be an out of the box thinker and excellent team player
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in stretched timelines.
- Do New Business Development and achieve targets to place students from assigned domains.
- Coordinate between various schools (under UPES), with the student coordinator, placement coordinator. Coordinate with CL’s and faculties at campus.
- To be the main POC and communication link for all events and programs organized for students related to team career services activities.
- • To handle student counselling and query solving on a day to day basis at campus. To have knowledge and full understanding about the course curriculum of all schools under UPES (Engineering/Business/Law/Design/Health Sciences/Media) students.
- Coordinating and organizing placement processes, seminars, master classes or any career services activity and events.
- Business development support to Corporate Relations team and providing valid leads and fixing meetings.
- Act as liaison between recruiter, students, and team managers.
- Communicating with external stakeholders through calling, emailing, facilitating meetings and reporting to reporting managers.
- Update Dashboard and Daily Worksheet and Calling sheet each day.
- Awareness about higher education options and incubation center wherever present in the campus.
- Any other responsibility as may arise.
Key Competencies : This role involves lot of new business development as well as retaining old recruiters. Coordination with Recruiters, students, faculties and other stake holders. The major responsibility includes smooth flow of processes during the career services activity across campuses and schools.
Key skills include New Business development, excellent communication, team coordination, team work, sound understanding of courses and curriculum, client’s nature of business and various requirements and vacancies, market scenario, problem solving skills and handling students counselling and queries related to placements. Go-getter, Self-driven, understands the market and relevant roles in the industry.
