The Opportunity:
As one of the world’s leading universities we have an exciting forward ambition and vision for global engagement and partnership. The Regional Director for South Asia, based in Mumbai, will undertake a lead role in directing and advancing the University’s engagement and partnership activity across India and the South Asia region. The post will connect activities of key services to support delivery of the University’s priorities for the region. With a focus on strategic partnerships, the post oversees a diverse portfolio of activity including: academic collaboration; engagement with industry and commercial partners and funders and sponsors of research.
While the role is fixed term for one year in the first instance, this is not a caretaker role. We are looking for someone who can contribute actively to advancing the University’s strategic position during an exciting time for the University in India and across the region. There is a possibility the term will be extended beyond a year. We would be open to the role being undertaken on a secondment basis.
