Job description

INSIDE SALES

In a nutshell we require sales guys who are comfortable selling over phone calls and emails…can pitch and convert leads to admissions for Manipal’s current and upcoming programs. This person must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day (70-100), working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

· Designation: Inside sales / Admission counsellor

· Introduction

o An admission counsellor will play a fundamental role in achieving customer acquisition goal and revenue growth objectives

Responsibilities

o Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

o Responsible for student admission and achieve their targets

o Understand customer needs / requirements and pitch a suitable program

o Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

o Counselling, Interacting with students and Parents.

o Support students one on one in their selection of course, application process and meeting application deadlines.

o Should be able to assist students in obtaining the necessary documentation needed for the application process.

o Provide students, parents, and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes, enrolment process or other procedures.

o Coordinate systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications with parents of student applicants.
