Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join

our talented team. As Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing

and maintaining the frontend systems that drive our innovative online learning platform.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as TypeScript, ReactJS, Zustand, NextJS, and

stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the web ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance frontend systems for our online learning platform.

– Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.

– Utilize TypeScript, ReactJS, Zustand, and NextJS to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

– Stay informed about the latest CSS frameworks and best practices, incorporating them into the frontend development process.

– Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience across different components of the platform.

– Take ownership of frontend projects, from inception to deployment, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

– Should be able to write unit and integration tests using Jest and other testing frameworks

– Be part of an on-call roster to handle production incidents and maintain platform availability and stability.

– Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and monitoring of frontend systems.

– Continuously monitor and improve frontend performance and optimize user experience through thoughtful design and implementation.

– Stay updated on the latest developments and emerging trends in the web ecosystem, and leverage them to drive technical excellence.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

– Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on frontend development.

– Proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience with ReactJS and related libraries/frameworks.

– Familiarity with state management libraries such as Zustand.

– Experience with NextJS or similar server-side rendering frameworks.

– Strong understanding of modern CSS frameworks and best practices.

– Demonstrated experience working closely with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams.

– Strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

– Familiarity with agile development methodologies and collaborative development tools.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Willingness to be part of an on-call roster to handle production incidents.

– Located in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
