Role Overview
Unacademy is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to join our team as an Associate Director of Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of various projects across UnacademyX. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead PMO function for UnacademyX.
– Identify areas of improvement, and execute initiatives that will impact the key metrics across the business.
– Assess and plan for expanding into new categories/markets.
– Collaborate with leadership to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
– Monitor timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to project plans.
– Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
– Develop and implement project management best practices, processes, and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
– Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, and implement corrective actions as needed.
– Provide regular project status updates and reports to management, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
– Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation across the team.
Qualifications and Experience
– Previous Consulting / Strategy / Program Management experience preferred.
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
– Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
– Demonstrated career growth with increasing responsibilities.
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
– Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
– Strategic thinker with the ability to align project goals with organizational objectives.
– Prior experience in the education or tech industry is advantageous.
