Job Overview: We are seeking passionate and proactive Academic Counsellors for our offline undergraduate centers. In this role, you will guide prospective and current students through their educational journey, providing tailored advice on academic, extracurricular, and career decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in creating personalized educational experiences and demonstrate a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in end-to-end sales processes to enroll new students into various undergraduate programs.
  • Conduct cold calling and other outreach strategies to generate leads and recruit prospective students.
  • Provide comprehensive counselling to students regarding course selection, major choices, and career planning.
  • Assist underclassmen in understanding the value and logistics of opportunities such as study abroad programs and participation in extracurricular activities.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all educational programs offered, staying updated on curriculum changes and industry demands.
  • Support students in setting realistic academic and career goals and developing a plan to achieve them.
  • Facilitate information sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate students about their opportunities and resources.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student services and academic offerings.
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing encouragement and support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and follow up regularly to ensure student retention and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in education, is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Experience in academic counselling, career guidance, or in a student services role is preferred.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and a deep understanding of student needs with the ability to advise accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
