As a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Science, you will play a vital role in delivering quality education in our school. You will be responsible for teaching Science subjects to students in lower secondary classes, fostering their scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a love for the subject. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Use a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning.

Student Engagement:Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
Motivate students to develop a keen interest in Science and its real-world applications.

Assessment and Feedback:Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.

Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and order in the classroom, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Manage classroom resources, materials, and equipment effectively.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in Science education and teaching methodologies.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities provided by the school.

Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents to discuss students’ academic progress and address any concerns.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and conferences as required.

Extracurricular Activities:Encourage and support students’ participation in Science-related clubs, competitions, and projects.
Organize or assist in organizing Science-related events and activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with a teaching certification.
• Proven experience in teaching Science at the lower secondary level is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Technological proficiency for incorporating digital tools into teaching.
