Independent Consultants work with our full-time consultants, complementing and supplementing UC Teams.

The project will involve onsite work and extensive travel to rural locations.

As an Independent Consultant you will be involved in executing market assessments, product strategies, product and service launches, field force effectiveness, therapy management programs, market access and pricing including regulatory and reimbursement, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, benchmarking, strategic planning, program management in Agri-Logistics, Agri-Inputs, Agri-chemicals, Specialty Fertilizers, NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) services and Food Processing.

The individual should be able to leverage his/her experience, provide support to the team members and also be involved in project execution with the client. Working under the guidance of senior team members, consultants/ associate consultants are responsible for:

1. Conducting primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, and customers.
2. Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to develop strategic recommendations.
3. Performing strategic, operational, and financial analyses to provide practical recommendations to clients.
4. Synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing various solutions and reporting on outputs.
5. Collaborating with team members to derive trends, conclusions, and recommendations based on data and analyses.
6. Designing deliverable content to reflect the engagement case and improve deliverable quality.
7. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with project and client teams.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or M Sc./ B.Tech‎ / M.B.A. or B.tech/ M Tech in Agri/ Food technology/ Food processing & Distribution
• M.B.A

Experience and Skills:

1. 2-3 years of agri business consulting experience in the Agri/ Food domain
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interviews, workshops, and presentations.
3. Analytical thinking and logical structuring.
4. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
