About the internship/job:

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques 2. Working on data mining using state-of-the-art methods 3. Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed 4. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems 5. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis 6. Working on ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner 7. Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance

• are available for full time (in-office) internship
• have relevant skills and interests
• can start the internship between 21st Jul’21 and 25th Aug’21
• are available for duration of 6 months
• have already graduated or are currently in any year of study
• Females willing to start/restart their career may also apply

Other requirements:

Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, WEKA, NumPy, MATLAB, etc. (depending on specific project requirements) (excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable) Great communication skills Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL Good scripting and programming skills
