ABOUT THE ROLE:

Toppr is looking for Creative Teachers in its Knowledge Team. As a Creative, you’ll deliver high quality lessons and self-learning materials in various formats such as video lectures, concept notes, assessments, etc. You’ll play a key role in bringing innovation and creativity in an approach to make learning and teaching simple.So, if you are student-centric and driven to change the way we look at education, then we’d love to talk to you!

Key Qualifications

● PhD/Masters/Bachelors in respective subjects or Engineering / Medical / relevant degree with strong subject knowledge.

● Pedagogy expert in either of one of the subjects. Ability to explain complex concepts in simple ways.

● Organize the course material in a cognitively advantageous manner.

● Possess the ability to highlight the relationships between different concepts and link them.

● Use of real-life examples and imaginative stories for a better explanation of concepts in an interesting and easy way.

● Ability to give several examples for a single topic.

● Representation of topics in a pictorial form/incorporation of mind maps/ diagrams.

● The approach in teaching should be in such a way that doubts arising in the minds of students get addressed.

● Should tend to focus on fixing problems/doubts of students.

● Focus on finding creative ways to integrate authentic learning into test paper preparation.

● Start the lecture with a warm welcome to students

● Expectation of the session should be set in the beginning.

● Be energetic throughout the lecture.

● Maintain interaction with students throughout the lecture.

● Engage with students by asking various questions, stories, and real life examples.

● Teacher should be cheerful.

● Incorporate humor at certain intervals.
