Purpose of Position:

The overall purpose of this position is to contribute profitably to the growth of TIE Learnings business in the assigned territory, industry in India. To successfully do this, the incumbent is expected to:

  • Understanding of TIE Learnings’s business and offerings
  • Identify Industry and prospective clients to offer the services of TIE Learnings
  • Take appointment with prospective users to understand their needs. 
  • Make presentations to explain synergy between TIE Learnings’s offerings and prospect’s needs
  • Close deals, projects and interventions
  • Provide clients with exceptional service

Role Responsibilities:

In order to be a successful, the incumbent should demonstrate and deliver the responsibilities as listed below in two independent categories mentioned below:

Category 1: Business Development:

This constitutes responsibilities and deliverables directly related to profitable business growth of TIE Learnings’s in the assigned territory. Most of the time the incumbent is expected to focus on activities related to achievement of set targets. 

Target Achievement – Realizing the set targets for the financial year.

 Market Coverage & Expansion – Ensuring optimum Market coverage in the assigned territory and expanding the Client-Base by way of making new Clients/Users Product & Service Promotion through Positive, Polished and Confident presentations and interactions, of TIE Learnings’s Services and offering to the clients.

Prospect Generation – Identifying and increasing the number of qualified prospects through screening based on parameters like; Employee Strength, Turnover, HR Expenditure / Budget, In-house or Outsourced Training Practices & Recruitment etc.

Category 2: Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of overall training consultancy business 
  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching training services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Fixing up meetings
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s services
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
  • Experience in L&D domain is a plus
