JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB TITLE: PRIMARY TEACHER

LOCATION: Chandigarh

Time: 4 hrs for 6 days a week

TheWorkshop is hiring enthusiastic, passionate educators who want to deliver learning engagingly that piques a child’s natural curiosity. We are hiring FULL-TIME PRIMARY teachers to develop captivating, customized lesson plans and deliver learning.

Responsibilities

• Developing class curriculum
• Planning daily lessons.
• Developing learning activities and hands-on material for classes.
• Attending to individual student needs.
• Demonstrating an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures.
• Providing extra support to students who need it.
• Monitoring student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Using learner data to refine your curriculum constantly.
• Providing regular feedback to students.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor with an excellent academic record

A degree in Science will be preferred

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Empathy and ability to identify the individual needs of children

Problem-solving and critical thinking

Interested in technological innovation and scientific developments

Proficiency in essential computer software like MSWord, excel, etc

Good teamwork

Excellent classroom management skills

Interest in Science and technology is a MUST.

STEM teaching experience is preferred.

Prior teaching experience would be a plus.
