JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB TITLE: TEACHER ASSISTANT

LOCATION: Chandigarh

Time: Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm; Saturday – 9 am to 1 pm

Job Brief:

We’re looking for Assistant Science Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong knowledge of the Science field. They will be able to engage students and provide hands-on learning environment. If you are a science enthusiast who is passionate about teaching, we want to hear from you!

Qualification

· M.Sc. / B.Engg / B.Tech

· B.Ed is preferred

· Prior STEM / Experiential Learning is preferred

· Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.

· Excellent Academic Record

· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PPT and other basic software tools

Responsibilities

· Design Hands-on learning projects that help students understand practical application of scientific concepts.

· Design working models with readily available materials.

· Design experiments and demonstrations to explain scientific concepts

· Develop instructional materials, and maintain classrooms, labs, and facilities

Roles

· Assist Lead Teacher in designing lesson plans

· Prepare worksheets, presentations needed for effective delivery of lesson plans.

· Provide direct instruction to students and monitor student progress

· Communicate with students and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner

· Provide support and guidance to students as needed

· Maintain daily lesson plans and worksheets for each class

· Provide feedback on student performance

· Perform other duties as assigned
