The Walt Disney Company Hiring For Executive – Standards & Practices at Hyderabad, Telangana, India Full Time

The incumbent will be a contributing team member of the Standards & Practices team within the Legal Function which is responsible for vetting all short and long form content including acquired and originally produced shows, films, clips, promos. movies, commercials, and social media posts from a content compliance perspective.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience and candidate must be proficient in English and respective Regional Language
• Professional background: Candidates with existing S&P backgrounds preferred. Can explore profiles from content writing/ research/editing/marketing/development backgrounds.
• Education: Bachelors or master’s degree in media/ Languages/ History/ Sociology/ Literature or any other field.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Advanced command on Telugu and English (written/ spoken)
• Excellent general knowledge and know-how of politics, religion, and social topics.
• Genuine interest in national and international sports, live events, and news (Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi etc).
• Knowledge of local customs and sensitivity towards social/ human issues.
• Good presentation and communication skills

Personal Attributes:

• Genuine penchant for content on TV and OTT platforms and familiarity with social medias
• Should be up to date with the current Indian GEC universe’s happenings.
• Should be well-aware of current news and affairs.
• Should have a personal interest in sports and knowledge of various sporting events.
• Should have an eye for detail, be organized & self-motivated.
• Should be high on personal accountability and take charge of tasks at hand.
• Should have solution orientation and good interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work through demanding broadcast timelines.
