Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Primary Teacher to join our The Poly Kids School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a love for language and literature, creating a positive learning environment, and helping primary school students develop strong English language skills. The English Primary Teacher will design engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and effective lesson plans in English language arts for primary school students, aligning with curriculum standards.
- Teach language skills, including reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary, in an engaging and developmentally appropriate manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for literature and effective communication.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support individualized learning.
- Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students, adapting teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and contribute to curriculum development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize technology and other educational resources to enhance English language instruction.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about current educational practices and trends.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, serving as a role model for students and contributing to a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching English language arts to primary school students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of primary school English language arts curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
